My Journey to Love My Body
Few years ago, I thought that my skin color was not so good, too black for Indonesian but then I realized it is beautiful color. Even when people gave me compliments, I didn’t believe them. I was too focused on the parts I didn’t like.
The pressure became worse as I got older—especially with social media. Seeing picture-perfect bodies daily made me feel like I was constantly behind, like I needed to work harder to “fix” my shape.
